Georgia visits and offers 4-star safety Chace Calicut
Houston North Shore four-star safety Chace Calicut has four official visits locked in to his top schools and is working towards a college decision. He received a big new offer on Tuesday.
Georgia defensive backs coach Donte Williams was in the Lone Star State this week and stopped by to visit Calicut.
The visit included an offer from the Bulldogs, the blue-chipper announced:

While there’s plenty of work to do, Georgia is now in the mix for the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder and will look to compete with Texas, Michigan, Washington and Ole Miss.
The Bulldogs continue to recruit the defensive back positions well and will now look to make a serious move with Calicut.

He took his first official visit over the weekend, getting back to Oxford to see Ole Miss.
Washington is up next on May 30, while Texas (June 13) and U-M (June 20) are currently set to round things out.
Calicut is looking to make a decision before his senior season.
Texas is the team trending in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, though Calicut recently told On3’s Chad Simmons that the other three schools have made things “a little tighter.” Could Georgia join that race?
Calicut is the No. 127 overall prospect and No. 11 safety in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 20 player in Texas.
