For 22 seasons, Vince Carter shined in the NBA.

As arguably the greatest dunker the game has seen, Carter was one of the most exciting and dynamic players in his prime.

However, his game was about more than just his athleticism.

Carter was also a reliable 3-point shooter and was one of the best scorers in the league at his peak.

Though he played for a number of teams, Carter began his career with the Toronto Raptors, with whom he played for seven seasons. Carter remains one of the greatest players in franchise history.

In 2020, Carter played his final NBA game as a member of the Atlanta Hawks, though he did not have to wait long to get another job within basketball. He became an ESPN analyst later that year.

Carter joined the “NBA on TNT” team in 2024 and offered tremendous insight due to his long and successful playing career.

On Tuesday, the Raptors legend announced what is next in his career.

According to the 48-year-old, he will join NBC Sports as an NBA studio analyst for the 2025-26 season.

“I could not be more excited and appreciative to have the opportunity to be a part of the historic return of the NBA to NBC and now Peacock,” Carter said in an official statement. “I am truly looking forward to joining (Carmelo Anthony) in the studio and the rest of the broadcast team overall, as we embark on bringing NBA fans best-in-class coverage of the league they love.”
