Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr ‘facing two-year ban’ from football
Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior is being investigated for a major breach of FIFA’s Code of Ethics, and he could face a career-defining two-year ban.
There can be no doubt that in recent years, Vinicius Jr has established himself as one of the best football players in the world, regularly putting in elite performances for Real Madrid.

Since joining the La Liga giants from Brazilian club Flamengo in 2018, the winger has an incredible 14 trophies, including lifting the Champions League twice and winning three La Liga titles.
However, Real Madrid may have to brace themselves for the possibility of life without the Brazilian forward, as he is reportedly under investigation for breaching a FIFA rule that could see him being handed a two-year ban.

Across all competitions this season, Vinicius has scored an incredible 21 goals and provided 15 assists in 47 matches, proving himself as an invaluable part of Carlo Ancelotti’s attacking lineup.
With his contract set to expire in 2027 and Vinicius currently valued by transfermarkt at an eye-watering $200million (£150.12m), Real will no doubt be looking at extending his current deal in the near future.
But, with a report from Gianluca Di Marzio revealing that the 24-year-old is facing a ban of up to two years requested for violation of FIFA Code of Ethics.
