‘El Conde’ (2023)

Finally feeling his age, Pinochet decides he wants to die — only this is much easier said than done for an immortal being.
A twisting, heartfelt black comedy that puts a neat, satirical spin on the vampire genre, El Conde is also a visually stunning viewing experience, so much so that it was honored with an Academy Award nomination for Best Cinematography back in 2024. – Jake Hodges

However, this pool cleaning business is instead a front for a team of vampire killers, each working day and night to bring down the San Fernando, California, vampire hierarchy.
Featuring the likes of Foxx, Snoop Dogg, Dave Franco, and more, Day Shift is a hilarious, action-packed vampire movie that skips the usual gothic tone in favor of a ’90s aesthetic.
